Large desk by Hartmut Lohmeyer for Wilkhahn

This impressive desk from the 1960s was designed by Hartmut Lohmeyer for Wilkhahn Germany. It's wonderfully spacious, offering ample workspace and six deep drawers for storage. According to reports, the desk originates from the courthouse in Leeuwarden and bears significant signs of use that add to its character. There are scratches on the surface, and the left side of the drawer block has two corner strips. What stories could this desk tell?
