Saori Wall Lamp by Kazuhide Takahama for Simon Gavina
A sculptural wall lamp designed by Kazuhide Takahama in 1973, the Saori embodies the dialogue between Japanese restraint and Italian craftsmanship. Its clean geometric form and diffused light create a quiet architectural presence, calm, balanced, and beautifully refined.
The piece features a square metal frame wrapped in a stretch fabric diffuser, softening the light into a warm, ambient glow. Originally produced by Simon Gavina (later Sirrah / Nemo), the Saori remains one of Takahama’s most celebrated lighting designs.
