Vintage "Ryd" Ikea lounge chair by Tord Björklund

Tord Björklund studied at the Academy of Interior Design in Copenhagen. He has a typical Scandinavian design style, characterized by clean and simple lines. Since 1980, he has been working for IKEA and is one of their most productive designers. This safari lounge chair is from 1990, featuring 100% cotton upholstery and a pine frame. The chair shows age-appropriate wear. The fabric is still in good condition with no tears, but has some small stains (see photo).
